Last updated: February 2025

Blue Sky Consultancy BV ("we", "the company") is committed to protecting your privacy and personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, why, on what legal basis, for how long, and with whom we share it, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Belgian and European data protection law.

1. Who we are (Data Controller)

Blue Sky Consultancy BV, Registered office: Hovernierstraat 51, 2018 Antwerp, Belgium. Company/VAT number (KBO): BE 0675.877.192. RPR Antwerpen. Contact email for personal data: b2b.cik.corp@gmail.com. If a Data Protection Officer (DPO) is appointed, their details will be published here.

2. What data we process

Depending on how you interact with us and our website, we may process: identification and contact details (name, title/position, company, email, phone, postal address, country, language); communication content (messages, support requests, attachments); call recordings and call metadata only where we clearly announce this at the start of the call; social profile details when you interact with us on social media; website and device usage data via cookies and similar technologies (IP, device/OS/browser, unique IDs, pages viewed, approximate location); marketing preferences (newsletter consent, cookie categories, opt-in/opt-out); survey data. We do not seek special categories of data unless strictly necessary and with a proper legal basis.

3. How data is collected

From you directly (forms, demo/contact requests, email, phone, events, social media); automatically (cookies, SDKs, pixels, see our Cookie Policy); from third parties (referrals, lead ads, widgets) only where we have a proper legal basis.

4. Change of purpose

We use data only for purposes that are compatible with the original purpose. For any substantial new purpose we will inform you clearly and, where the law requires it, obtain fresh consent.

5. Who we share data with

We share data only with processors that serve the purposes above and that are bound by Article 28 GDPR (e.g. CRM, communications/collaboration tools, analytics and advertising if used, automation/integrations, support/telephony). We disclose to public or regulatory bodies only when required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We may also disclose with your explicit consent when you ask.

6. International transfers

Some of our providers may be located outside the EU/EEA (e.g. USA, UK). Where we transfer data there, we use appropriate safeguards under Article 46 GDPR (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses), carry out transfer impact assessments where needed, and apply supplementary measures. A copy of the safeguards can be provided on request.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site and, with your consent, analytics, functionality and marketing/remarketing cookies. You can give or withdraw consent by category at any time via the cookie settings on the site. Details are in our Cookie Policy, which forms part of this policy and prevails for cookies.

8. Information security

We put in place technical and organisational measures: access controls, data minimisation, encryption in transit and at rest where possible, regular backups, security logging and training. We choose providers with adequate guarantees and certifications where available.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection (including to direct marketing) and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at b2b.cik.corp@gmail.com. We will respond within one month (extendable by up to two months for complex requests). We may ask for information to verify your identity. We do not charge a fee unless the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive. If you are not satisfied, you may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD/GBA): Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, Belgium, contact@apd-gba.be, +32 2 274 48 00, https://www.dataprotectionauthority.be

10. Automated decision-making and profiling

We do not take decisions that have legal effects on you based solely on automated processing. We may use segmentation or profiling for analytics and targeted advertising based on cookies/IDs and browsing behaviour only with your consent to marketing cookies, and you may opt out at any time.

11. Minors

Our services are aimed at adults. Parents or guardians should supervise use by minors.

12. Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal or accounting obligations. When no longer needed, we anonymise or delete it securely. More specific retention details are in the Cookie Policy where relevant.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is shown by the "Last updated" date. For material changes we will give appropriate notice and, where required, seek your consent again.
